Blue Tansy Essential Oil Therapeutic Grade 5 ml

Blue Tansy is a perennial herb (a type of chamomile) that grows in Morocco. It has been used to treat intestinal parasites, rheumatism, digestive problems, fever, ulcers and measles. Blue Tansy was used as a face wash and was reported to lighten and purify the skin. In the 19th century, Irish folklore suggested that bathing in a solution of tansy and salts would cure joint pain.
Various species of Tanacetum are used to treat migraine, neuralgia and rheumatism and as anthelmintics. Traditionally, Blue Tansy is often used to stimulate menstruation.
The essential oil is obtained by steam distillation of the flowers. It has a dark blue colour due to the hamazulene that is present.
The aroma of the oil is exotic, grassy, warm, bittersweet.
The production of this oil is a labor-intensive process, and extraction requires a large amount of raw material, which also determines its high price. Its strong healing properties, however, make it indispensable, and its high potency means that very small amounts are sufficient to achieve a powerful therapeutic effect.

Blue Tansy Oil has strong anti-inflammatory properties, helps reduce inflammatory processes in the body, an effect that is explained by the presence of sabine and camphor in the chemical composition of the oil. Like German chamomile, blue tansy contains hamazulene, which is why the oil has a deep blue colour, and hamazulene is also an ingredient with strong anti-inflammatory properties.
Relieves muscle discomfort thanks to its anti-inflammatory properties. It is also a true vein tonic, which therefore helps in the fight against congestion or other venous problems. For example, to relieve joints, it can be combined with a few drops of essential oil of lemon and eucalyptus.
A wonderful potent oil for inhalations for problems of the respiratory system and viral diseases. It has antihistamine properties and helps unclog a stuffy nose. It has a beneficial effect, including allergic rhinitis and pollen problems.
When choosing Blue Tansy, carefully read the label for its Latin name, the original and effective Blue Tansy is Tanacetum annuum and not Tanacetum vulgare.
The aroma is sweet-bitter and characteristic with a gentle fruity accord.
Combines well with: Geranium, Salvia, Lavender, Frankincense, Ylang Ylang, Jasmine, Lemon, Neroli, Rose, Patchouli.

1. By diffusion with an aroma diffuser. Add 2 drops of essential oil to 100 ml of water in an aroma diffuser and turn on for 1 hour. You can continue the diffusion for longer according to your desire and mood. After the water in the diffuser has completely run out, wash the tank with warm water and soap. Bluish marks may remain, but they disappear after a few washes.
2. As an exclusive anti-ageing additive in a cream or serum. Add 3 drops of Blue Tansy to 50ml of cream or serum and shake well to mix the textures. Use as usual and discover the gradual smoothing of the skin and the minimization of imperfections. Does not leave bluish marks on the skin. Always keep the cream or serum with added Blue Tansy tightly closed.
3. In home skin care. Add 3 drops of Blue Tansy to 2 tablespoons (2 x 15ml) of carrier oil (Jojoba, Almond, Coconut, Grapeseed). Mix well and apply twice a day with light smoothing movements on the face, neck and décolleté.
