RETURNS & REFUNDS POLICY

RETURNS  

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase from MAKEDA Botanics. If you are not entirely happy with your order, we offer a hassle-free returns policy to ensure your shopping experience is pleasant and straightforward.

Due to the nature of the products we offer we cannot accept returns on opened or otherwise used items unless the product is genuinely faulty, which we will need to investigate thoroughly. Regrettably, we cannot accept returns on opened fragrances & essential oils under any circumstances once opened, as smell is highly subjective, and varies for each individual.

ELIGIBILITY FOR RETURNS 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it, and in its original packaging. It must also be returned within 30 days of the delivery date.

HOW TO INITIATE A RETURN

To initiate a return, please contact our customer service team at info@makedabotanics.com within the specified return period. Our team will provide you with a return authorization and instructions on how to proceed.

RETURN SHIPPING

You will be responsible for paying for your shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

REFUNDS

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If your return is approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 5-7 business days.

DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE ITEMS 

If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us immediately at info@makedabotanics.com. We will arrange for a replacement or refund, including return shipping costs if applicable.

LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account or credit card statement. It may take some time before your refund is officially posted. If you still have not received your refund after 10 business days, please contact your bank or credit card company.

EXCHANGES

We currently do not offer exchanges. If you need to exchange an item for a different size or colour, please initiate a return for the item you wish to exchange and place a new order for the desired item.

STORAGE

Due to the changing nature of our products, our ingredients need to be stored in the correct conditions, i.e. in a cool, dark, place away from direct sunlight, at a controlled temperature. We cannot accept liability for oils/butter/creams etc going rancid if you have stored your purchase for more than 14 days, as we will have no control over how they have been stored.

No refunds whatsoever can be given on products/services more than 30 days after the original purchase (including safety assessments).
